It's been a while.

scorpiodragon Am on the second day of my new job and its been pretty great so far. Sad thing is Livejournal is blocked a s a social networking site at the office so I have to take my laptop (yes, the new job came with a laptop. I'm still in disbelief.) to the local cafe with free wi-fi to post. I can't even listen to Last.fm. I did download Itunes so I'm just going to have to load a ton of music, wich won;t be a problem for me.
I'm still really bummed about Michael Jackson but I'm not watching the coverage of it. I really don't want to get fat on celebrity gossip glut. I just keep thinking about my deceased Uncle who exposed me to a lot of the music I still love today as a kid. He was my introduction to Prince. Michael Jackson, The Eurythmics and a host of others. MJ dying is like losing a little piece of my Uncle who was a huge fan and gave me a true appreciation of all kinds of music.
I'm excited about Shore Leave 31. Kevin Sorbo had to cancel his appearance due to starting work on a new film. It still feels kind of weird that he was a guest, though I can't figure out why.
