More tales from the battlefield of house hunting

I just heard back from the realtor. I got outbid on the condo I wanted to buy. Apparently the winning bid was $10,000 over the listing price. It works out really well for the current owner she's been having medical problems (the reason for her selling) and the extra money should be a big help to her so I guess something good comes out of it along the way. Also, I finally nailed down a paint color scheme for when I do find a house.
