The Sun will come out tomorrow !
Mar. 18th, 2004 12:34 pmI'm feeling better health wise and also about the condo too. I'm really looking forward to doing more house-hunting on Sunday.
On the writing front . . .
I lot of things have been coming to me very quickly and I've spent most of the week making notes, outlining and writing new scenes. Right now I've got 2 novels and 3 short stories going and the novels are on a major full speed ahead. Which is wonderful and a little frustrating because on the nights I have to go into my second job at the video I'd rather be home writing. So I'm thinking about quitting the video store. I started working their to save up extra money for moving expenses and any new furniture I may need back in September. I've made good headway and I get as much as I can done on the nights I don't work there but I always feel like I could be doing more on the writing end.
I don't know maybe it's the perfectionist in me talking. I got a story accepted for publication last year and I felt like I should have had 2. I love my writing and constantly trying to figure out new and better ways to tell a story or ideas for a story. I just enjoy the energy and focus I put in and wish I had more hours in the day to write.
The recent issue of "Writer's Digest Presents: Start writing now!" has this great article called "Hop on the Thrill ride" that gives some great tips on adding new dimensions to a Thriller/suspense story. There's a ton of other articles in it as well, if you guys get a chance check it out.
