hurricanes are not cool birthday presents
Oct. 29th, 2012 03:15 pmAt home with junk food and anxious kitties who are randomly approaching me for cuddles of reassurance. I didn't imagine I would be spending my birthday worrying about power outages and where a tree was going to fall on my house again.

more birthday and hurricane fun
Oct. 29th, 2012 07:42 pmWind is howling loudly outside. The kitties are staying really close to me and are staring out the windows worryingly. One of the local weather news casters advised people to sleep on the lower levels of there house if they live in areas with a lot of trees. Since a tree has fallen in my neighbors yard the last 2 years (one year on my house) I'm taking that advice.
