And Florida just finished counting, and Gov. Scott thinks he did the right thing in cutting early voting and making people wait for 8 hours to vote. All of this while county election officials are crying as they publicly apologize to Floridians. At least this election didn't rest on Florida.
Election day!
Nov. 4th, 2008 10:15 am5:15 to 6 am- woke up, got dressed headed out to mom's
6:15 am - Picked up mom headed out to stand in line
6:30 am - arrived at school and took our plcae in line t wait and vote. Also took pictures and had fun making cell phone videos
7 am - Polls open and the line starts to move.
7:30 - we are done voting and have recieved "I Voted" stickers
Rest of the day - waiting for the returns nervously.
Its a relief to have it over an done with. The line moved really quickly and everyone was happy and excited to be waiting to vote. A lot of people were using there phones to take pictures, it was really fun all around.
Now for something on the cute side:
